Your allowances
The session allowance starts with your first AI request and refills 5 hours later, whether or not you used all of it.
The weekly allowance starts with your first AI request of the week and resets 7 days later.
A session is not the same as being signed in. Closing Clamly or signing out does not end it or refill it. Only the 5 hours do.
What each feature uses
So on Free, one session covers about five generated quizzes, or a long evening of chat messages.
If a request fails partway, the units it reserved are given back automatically.
See how much you have left
- Starter and Pro: the lightning meter in the header shows how much of your session allowance you have used, and says Cooldown while it refills. The Billing page shows both allowances, with a countdown to the next refill.
- Free: there is no meter. Clamly tells you when you reach a limit.
When you reach a limit
You will see one of these messages. None of them affects anything that is not AI: quizzes, flashcards, notes and everything else keep working.“You've reached your current session limit”
