Clamly is built on the principle that your data belongs to you. You can download a full copy of everything stored in your account at any time, request corrections, withdraw consent, or permanently close your account. This page explains exactly what your export contains and how to exercise every right available to you.

Exporting Your Data

Open Your Profile Page

Click your avatar or initials in the top-right corner of any Clamly page, then select Profile.

Click Export Data

Scroll to the Data & Privacy section and click the Export Data button.

Wait for the Export to Prepare

Clamly will compile your data. Depending on how much content you have, this may take a few moments.

Download Your File

Once ready, a download will begin automatically (or a download link will appear). Save the file to your device.
Your export file is generated on demand and is only available to you. Clamly does not store or share the generated export file.

What Your Export Contains

Your data export includes a complete snapshot of everything associated with your account:

Study Content

All your quizzes, flashcard decks, and notes exactly as you created them.

Tasks & Exams

Your todo items and every exam entry you’ve added to your schedule.

AI Chat History

The full history of your conversations with Clamly’s AI study assistant.

Uploaded Files

Any files you’ve uploaded to Clamly, such as past papers or revision documents.

Achievements

Your complete achievement and milestone history.

Account Details

Your profile information including name, email, country, and study purpose.

Your GDPR Rights

Clamly is operated from Romania and is subject to the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). If you are located in the European Economic Area, United Kingdom, or another jurisdiction with equivalent data protection law, you have the following rights over your personal data:
You have the right to receive a copy of all personal data Clamly holds about you. Use the Export Data button on your Profile page to exercise this right instantly.
You have the right to request that inaccurate or incomplete personal data be corrected. You can update most information directly on your Profile page. For anything you can’t edit yourself, email support@clamly.app.
You have the right to request that Clamly delete your personal data. You can initiate account deletion directly from your Profile page, or submit a request to support@clamly.app. All personal data is removed within 30 days of a confirmed deletion request.
You have the right to receive your data in a structured, commonly used, machine-readable format. The Export Data button on your Profile page fulfils this right.

Requesting Corrections or Deletion by Email

If you need to request a data correction or deletion that you cannot complete through the app, contact Clamly’s support team directly.

Email Support

Send your request to support@clamly.app from the email address associated with your Clamly account.

Describe Your Request

Clearly state what you are requesting — for example, correction of a specific data field, or full account and data deletion.

Await Confirmation

The Clamly team will acknowledge your request and action it in accordance with applicable law. Account and data deletions are completed within 30 days.
Deleting your account permanently removes all associated data — quizzes, flashcard decks, notes, todos, exam entries, AI chat history, uploaded files, and achievements. This action cannot be undone. Export your data before requesting deletion if you want to keep a copy.
