Creating a Task
Open Todos
Click Todos in the sidebar. Your task list opens, showing all current and completed tasks.
Add a New Task
Click Add Task or press the keyboard shortcut shown at the top of the list. Type the name of your task and press Enter to save it quickly, or keep filling in details before saving.
Set a Priority Level
Assign a priority to the task — see Priority Levels below for what each option means. Higher-priority tasks surface visually so you can spot them at a glance.
Add a Due Date
Click the calendar icon on the task and pick a date (and optionally a time). Tasks with due dates are sorted and highlighted to warn you as deadlines approach.
Priority Levels
High Priority
For tasks that are urgent or have the most impact on your grades. These display prominently at the top of your list.
Medium Priority
The default level for most tasks. Important but not immediately critical.
Low Priority
Nice-to-do tasks that can wait if something more pressing comes up.
Color Coding
Color labels let you build a visual layer of organization on top of priorities and due dates. Some ideas for a color system:- One color per subject — quickly see which subject has the most tasks piling up.
- One color per type — for example, red for assessments, blue for readings, green for revision sessions.
- Urgency-based — use a consistent “needs attention” color for anything you’ve been putting off.
Reordering with Drag and Drop
Your task list order is fully under your control. Grab any task by its drag handle (the icon on the left side of the task card) and drag it up or down to change its position in the list.Drag-and-drop order takes precedence over automatic sorting. If you manually position a task, it stays where you put it until you move it again.
Completing and Removing Tasks
Mark a Task Complete
Click the checkbox to the left of any task to mark it as done. The task moves to the Completed section at the bottom of your list and is struck through for visual clarity.
Review Completed Tasks
Completed tasks stay visible until you remove them, so you can look back at what you’ve accomplished.
