Creating a study group

Open the Groups tab
Navigate to the Collaboration section in the left sidebar and select Study Groups.

Create a new group
Click Create Group, enter a group name, and optionally add a short description.

Share your invite code
After the group is created, Clamly generates a unique invite code. Share this code with classmates. They’ll enter it to join.
Joining a group

Go to Study Groups
Open the Study Groups page from the Collaboration section.

Enter the invite code
Click Join Group and type in the invite code you received. Clamly will add you to the group as a Member right away.
Roles and permissions
Every study group has three roles. Each role comes with a different level of access.Owner
The person who created the group. Full control: manage members, assign or revoke Admin, share quizzes, and delete the group.
Admin
Can invite new members, manage existing members, and share quizzes within the group.
Member
Can view and interact with shared quizzes and participate in group activity. Cannot manage members or change group settings.

Promote a member to Admin
Open the group’s Members list, find the member you want to promote, and select Make Admin. They’ll immediately gain admin-level permissions.
Remove a member from the group

In the Members list, select the member and then select Remove from Group. They’ll lose access to all group content immediately and will need a new invite code to rejoin.
Transfer ownership

If you want to hand over the Owner role, select a current Admin and then select Transfer Ownership. Your role will change to Admin after the transfer.
Sharing quizzes in the group

Open a quiz
Go to your Quizzes library and open the quiz you want to share.

Share to group
Click the Share button and select Share with Group. Choose the group from your list and confirm.

Members get access
All current group members can now view and use the shared quiz. Any member who joins later will also see it in the group’s shared content.
Tracking group activity
From the group’s main page, you can see recent quiz shares, new members who have joined, and overall activity in the group feed.Acceptable use
You are responsible for the content you share within a study group. Make sure everything you post follows Clamly’s Terms of Service. Groups or content that violate the Terms of Service may be removed by Clamly at any time.
