# Exams

> Every exam in one calendar, synced both ways with Google Calendar, with reminders before the day.

The Exams page keeps every exam date in one place. Clamly uses it to remind you before each one and to tell the AI coach what is coming up.

## Add an exam

1. Open **Exams** and choose **Add New Exam**.
2. Enter the title and subject, then pick the date and time.
3. Add a description if it helps: topics, room number, what you are allowed to bring.

Exams that are close are flagged under **Needs attention**. When one is done, **Mark exam completed** so it drops off your upcoming list.

## Sync with Google Calendar

    On the Exams page, connect Google Calendar and approve access in the Google window. Clamly asks to read and write calendar events, and uses that only for exam sync.

    Export all your upcoming exams at once, or use **Sync to Google Calendar** on one exam. Synced exams appear in your primary calendar with a 📚 in the title. If you change a synced exam, use **Update in Google Calendar**.

  <Step title="Bring exams in from Google">
    Import looks at the next six months of your primary Google Calendar and brings in events whose titles contain words like *exam*, *test*, *quiz*, *midterm*, *final*, *assessment* or *review*. Events you already have in Clamly on the same day are skipped.

<Tip>
  Import only recognises those English words. If your calendar says *Klausur* or *examen*, add the exam in Clamly instead, or include one of the words in the event title.

### Disconnect Google Calendar

Disconnect from the Exams page at any time. Your exams stay in Clamly, sync stops, and Clamly deletes the access it was given.

## Reminders

Exam reminders arrive by email and, if you have turned them on, as push notifications. Switch them on or off under **Exam reminders** in [Settings](/account/settings#notifications).
