# Clamly plans overview: Free, Starter, and Pro pricing

> Compare Clamly's Free, Starter ($4.99/mo), and Pro ($9.99/mo) plans to find the right AI session limit and feature set for your study needs.

Every plan includes all core study tools. The difference is in how many AI sessions you get. No credit card is required to get started on the free plan, and you can upgrade or cancel at any time.

  AI session limits reset on a rolling basis. If you find yourself hitting the limit often on the Free plan, upgrading to Starter or Pro gives you a significantly larger allocation.

## Frequently asked questions

    No. The Free plan requires no payment information. You only need to add billing details when you choose to upgrade to Starter or Pro.

  <Accordion title="How do I upgrade my plan?">
    Go to the **Billing** page inside your Clamly dashboard and select the plan you want. Payment is processed through **Stripe**. You'll be prompted to enter card details before the upgrade takes effect.

  <Accordion title="How do I manage or cancel my subscription?">
    You can manage your subscription from the **Billing** page in Clamly or directly through the **Stripe customer portal**, where you can update payment methods, view invoices, and cancel at any time.

  <Accordion title="Will I lose my data if I downgrade or cancel?">
    Your notes, flashcards, and other content remain in your account if you downgrade. Your AI session limit will return to the Free tier allocation. Contact [support@clamly.app](mailto:support@clamly.app) if you have concerns about your data.

  <Accordion title="Are there any long-term contracts?">
    No. All paid plans are billed monthly with no long-term commitment. You can cancel at any time from the Billing page or Stripe customer portal, and you won't be charged again after the current billing period ends.

    Clamly uses Stripe to process payments, which supports all major credit and debit cards as well as other payment methods available in your region.
